Brandon Y. Lee Ph.D.L.Ac.

California Board Certified Acupuncturist, Brandon Youngnam Lee, Ph. D is the third generation of Oriental Medicine doctors in his family.

He grew up learning secret traditional Korean acupuncture methods from his grandfather and uncle and helping with the preparation of herbal medicine formulas.
Due to his family heritage, he has always been fascinated by the science of medicine and the way the human body exists and functions in nature and easily learned how ancient Oriental Medicine doctors treated Royal Family for thousands years in Korea.

He is proud and honored to bring a lifetime of experience with his family heritage to his patients each day. Dr. Lee started his formal education in the United States at the University of Washington in Seattle (UW) and completed a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine at Dongguk Royal University in Los Angeles, CA.

He received his doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the American Liberty University, Orange, California and has specialized in pain, obesity, and adult illness as a core study in his doctorate degree.

He also completed a Gross & Clinical Anatomy and Neurobiology Program at the University of California, Irvine’s School of Medicine (UCI). After that, he was trained at the University Park Health Center in the University Southern California, Los Angeles (USC) and has practiced at the Chabad Residential Treatment Center in Los Angeles as a Chief Acupuncturist and the program Director since 2006.

Lee combines the best aspects of all these modalities with Acupuncture and Alternative Herbal Medicine with his family secret to achieve the best results for his patients in clinical practice. This method of healing is versatile and highly effective as a complement to western medicine in helping patients feel relief of their symptoms and resolution of their conditions.

His emphasizing the practice of the mind/body connection in health and well-being finally brought him to open Miracle Acupuncture located in 1080 La Cienega Blvd Suite 201/202, Los Angeles, California. Lee integrates acupuncture, Natural herbal therapies and lifestyle counseling to treat acute and chronic problems and offers ongoing treatment as a wellness practice.

Far more than a technique of inserting tiny thread like needles along meridian flow of the body, Oriental Medicine’s complex system of diagnostic method is a consideration of the person as a whole, not just isolated symptom. The main objectives of acupuncture treatment are relieving pain and other symptoms, strengthening the immune system, and balancing, harmonizing and integrating the functions of the internal organs with each other, making for a unified, healthy person, rather than a collection of fragmented, disharmonious parts. Oriental Medicine addresses and seeks to find the root or the cause of the problem rather than just merely treating the manifestations of various symptoms. He believes that many chronic illnesses that occur due to overwork and stress may be prevented or reversed with regular wellness care.

Dr. Lee’s unique approach to restoring healthy utilizes only natural methods of time-honored acupuncture and herbal remedies without any toxic medications or invasive procedures. He fully understands the intricate and delicate balance between body, mind and nature and will develop a fully customized healing plan exclusively for each patient to support all aspects of the patients' healing process. His warmth and gracious manner are legendary and his exceptional healing ability allows him to develop a partnership of mutual respect and trust between doctor and patient as the foundation of a fully integrated treatment experience with the goal of creating optimal health for each individual.
